What is Angel Food?

     It's a non-profit organization that has developed a unique food outreach program. Once a month, using high-volume buying and volunteer labor to cut costs, they are able to make boxes of food available at a fraction of the cost.

Where does the food come from?

     Our food is "restaurant grade" meats, frozen vegetable, fruits, dairy products, and so which we acquire through our involvement with only the best producers/ vendors of high quality, "name brand" foods. Never "seconds" or "day old" products.

Who qualifies?

     Everyone. There is no applications or qualifications to order angel food. This is an outreach for the local community. Times are tight, and who doesn't want to save a dollar or two when they can?While it's terrific for those in the most difficult financial situations, it is also designed as a tool for those who want to stretch their budget in order to give more, or who are trying to save money in their debt. There are people that are doing well financially, but buy boxes to give to other.It's a great way for the average person to help others.

How is Angel Food different from other programs or food banks?

     First, there are no applications or other requirements. People can order one box or many. Second, this is fresh, name brand foods, not a give away program. Third, it's not a bank, all the food is distrubuted one a single day.

Can we recieve more than one unit or special?

     Yes, you can order as many regular united as you want. To receive a special box, you must order a regular united.

When do I pay?

     You pay at the time you order, we currently accept cash. We are working on accepting food stamps and online payments.
